Lead on all aspects and disciplines of road safety at all levels: Land Planning, Land Servicing and Asset Development to Master Developer, Asset Business Unit, Infrastructure Business Unit, Landmark Projects and design organizations through planning, design, construction and operations and maintenance
Manage the relationship with contracted third-party design companies, contractors, consultants and key stakeholders
Supervise the review of feasibility studies, masterplans, design proposals, work zone temporary traffic management plans and related construction activities
Lead and manage budget development, cost estimations and forecasts for any safety projects
Manage junior staff and conduct annual appraisal
Lead the planning of all road safety including but not limited to guidelines, drawings (control plans, base plans, schematics etc), processes, strategies, control mechanisms and collision management
Update project dashboards and KPI's reporting to the project leadership team
Lead the development and implementation of road safety design strategies in alignment with Qiddiya's vision and regulatory requirements
Advise on safety in design, roadside hazard & speed management, work zone traffic management, vulnerable road user safety (micro-mobility), crash investigation, crash analysis, crash predication, post-crash care, road safety audit, International Road Safety Assessment (iRAP) and road safety management
Contribute to Qiddiya's target of zero mobility injuries and the casualty reduction targets within the KSA 2030 Vision
Review and where necessary update the Mobility volumes of the projects City Framework Plan and relevant appendices of contracts
Ensure all disciplines understand and implement the principles of the Safe System Approach (Safe Roads/Roadsides, Safe Speeds, Safe Road Users, Safe Vehicles and Post Crash Response

Demonstrated knowledge of local and international road safety regulations and standards
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Solid understanding of road safety audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques
Proficient in transportation design software and tools, with strong analytical capabilities
Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in road safety design, traffic engineering, or a similar role
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or related field; a Master's degree is preferred
Proven experience in managing complex design projects and leading multidisciplinary teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
