- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Troubleshoot and repair various problems that could occur during course of test such as warranty and non-warranty problems; requires Tester to think critically to solve problems with the assistance of an experienced tester (A or B).
- Develop rapport and establish relationships with customers; will interface heavily with customers on witness tests under the supervision and guidance of an experienced tester (A).
- Test equipment, ensure it meets customer specifications as well as safety and quality requirements under the supervision.
- Record data and write reports; process paperwork timely, accurately, and with accountability.
- Continuously improve work environment processes; may require Tester to suggest ways to develop test setups and new procedures when current procedures are inadequate.
- Build positive relationships that support job objectives and a team environment.
- Recognize and report quality issues through the correct channels as they arise.
- Follow procedures with accurately, efficiently and with strict attention to details.

- Strong knowledge of the following fundamental electrical concepts: Basic Electricity, Motors and Controls, PLC Programming and Fundamentals of AC/DC
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of this location
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics from an accredited institution.
- Constantly involved in product and process knowledge; requiring additional classroom work, assigned reading, and training from an experienced tester (A).
- No relocation is available for this position, only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Avery Creek, NC facility will be considered.
- Must be able to work flexible hours; including overtime and weekends
