Assisted Living Caregiver, Full-Time

Description

• Execute signature programs in dining, fitness, wellness, and care
• Respond promptly and kindly to resident needs, preserving dignity and safety
• Follow care plans to provide appropriate care
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, hygiene, meals, bowel/bladder)
• Support residents at mealtime and deliver tray service
• Transport residents safely using proper lifting techniques
• Perform safety checks and assist in fire drills
• Encourage participation in daily activities and enrichment programs
• Maintain cleanliness, laundry, and community tasks
• Manage oxygen equipment per medical orders
• Document care, incidents, and changes in condition promptly
• Respond to alerts and emergencies using walkie‑talkies
• Promote teamwork and open communication
• Interact courteously with residents, families, and guests
• Follow policies on breaks and rest periods
• Meet state regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Minimum age 18 with work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred Nurse Aid certification; current first aid certification
• Background checks and recent TB test required
• Prior caregiving experience preferred; training provided for right attitude
• Fluent in English; ability to follow directions
• Ability to work with diverse ages and backgrounds
• Ability to kneel, squat, reach, lift 40+ lbs, push 150 lbs unassisted
