Direct management of the operations portion of the project and interface with the customer and internal stakeholders
Ensure all onsite personnel comply with project procedures, safety program requirements, work rules, etc. Document all violations, notify project management, recommend/implement corrective actions as required.
Assist project management in developing and implementing project procedures, working documents, standards, etc.
In coordination with project management; plan and supervise onsite functions (scheduling, engineering, material control, and may provide day-to-day direction of onsite administrative staff in accounting, purchasing, etc.).
Reports program performance data as required to management and customers
Manages and ensures customer's expectations for quality, schedule, and budget are satisfied
Provide the customer updates on operations portions of the program
Perform additional assignments per Supervisor's direction.
Supervise total construction effort to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. Includes interfacing with client representatives, AE representatives, other contractors, etc.
Provide technical assistance, i.e., interpretation of drawings, recommending construction methods and equipment, etc., as required.
Supervise craft employees and/or other contractors as required by the contract.
Assume responsibility for productivity of crafts, efficient use of materials & equipment, and contractual performance of the project.

Experience in all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations; engineering, cost control schedules and safety required.
5+ years utility construction experience in relevant operations management, construction management, and/or craft supervision experience in similar facility construction, or equivalent combination of technical training and Operations Management experience.
Familiar with scheduling software applications (Primavera, MS Project) a plus
Experience in understanding of industry practices, processes, and standards, and their impact on project activities.
BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred
