At E.ON Next, we’re determined to make new energy work for everyone.
You will concentrate on one business proposition area – such as Electric Vehicles, Heat, Flex, SME, New Build, Solar & Battery, or Portfolio – and act as the strategy lead for that vertical in partnership with the Proposition Manager.
Key responsibilities include developing clear, differentiated value propositions and messaging frameworks for target customer segments, creating and owning end‑to‑end GTM plans for new products and updates, and defining, tracking, and reporting post‑launch success metrics. You will partner with insights, sales, and digital CX teams to conduct competitive analysis, capture customer feedback, lead Voice of the Customer research, and optimise digital and app journeys. Additionally, you will collaborate with Marketing, Partnerships, and New Business Development to design and deliver campaigns that drive lead generation, adoption and retention, while shaping product roadmaps based on market demand.
We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to lead the go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy, positioning and messaging for our products. The role sits within the Product Marketing and Planning team of E.ON Next’s broader GTM function and operates as the central hub in a hub‑and‑spoke model, collaborating with Proposition, Commercial, Strategy, Marketing, and Digital & Ecommerce teams. The aim is to ensure our offerings resonate with target audiences, stand out in the market, and deliver measurable business impact aligned with organisational goals.
The ideal candidate brings proven product marketing experience in B2B, B2C, tech or SaaS environments, strong expertise in GTM strategy and product positioning, and the ability to translate complex concepts into simple, compelling messaging. Required skills include competitive analysis, customer research, excellent written and verbal communication, influencing without direct authority, robust project management, and proficiency with CRM and marketing platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce. You should be a strategic, data‑driven thinker, comfortable in a fast‑paced, matrixed organisation, and resilient in ambiguous conditions.
All successful candidates will undergo a basic DBS check conducted by a third‑party provider. Join us in creating a sustainable future and delivering feel‑good energy through exceptional service and state‑of‑the‑art technology.
We offer a competitive salary, hybrid work in London or Nottingham, excellent parental leave, 26 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, a generous pension, life cover, bonus opportunities and access to 20 flexible benefits with tax savings.
