Service and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Assist in preparing GSE and MHE for shipment, storage, or redistribution.
Repair and maintain items such as generators, heaters, lighting units, power distribution equipment, hydraulic test stands, tow bars, jacks, and lifting devices.
Verify equipment condition codes and annotate deficiencies for property accountability.
Condition code classification and Army supply documentation.
Enforce safety procedures for lifting, towing, and transporting GSE and MHE.
Troubleshoot faults using Army-approved diagnostic tools.
Ensure audit-ready documentation to support Army inspections, reviews, and accountability checks.
Update condition codes (A-H) and maintenance records in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
Replace worn or damaged components and return equipment to a serviceable state when authorized.
Tag, segregate, and document unserviceable equipment for proper disposition.
Perform inspections and diagnostics on ground support equipment and MHE during turn-in processing.
Provide technical advice to Army and contractor staff on GSE condition and maintenance requirements.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance per Army maintenance standards (DA PAM 750-8, AR 750-1, and applicable TMs).
Coordinate with Supply Technicians and Material Coordinators to verify serviceability and documentation during equipment turn-in.
Adhere to OSHA, Army, and company safety policies during maintenance operations.
Safely handle fuels, lubricants, batteries, and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental regulations.
Record maintenance and inspection results using DA Form 2404/5988-E and Army systems such as GCSS-Army.

Must have a state of North Carolina's driver's license and proof of insurance.
Familiarity with Army maintenance standards, TMs, and property accountability requirements.
Preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) for GSE/MHE.
Army logistics systems such as GCSS-Army.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in GSE or MHE maintenance (Army or contractor environment preferred).
Proficiency in reading TMs, schematics, and maintenance work orders.
Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, or other MHE with proper licensing (OF 346 or equivalent).
Must have a Real ID.
High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical certification in mechanical or electrical maintenance preferred.
Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills.
