Oversee hotel acquisitions, negotiations, performance monitoring, and brand development in APAC.
Structure and negotiate purchases, JVs, management and franchise agreements with landowners, funds, private-equity partners, and global hotel operators
Identify and screen acquisition targets through market studies, site inspections, competitor mapping, financial modelling, and strategic due diligence
Lead, coach, and develop to uplift team capability
Present investment papers and recommendations to senior management for approval
Maintain relationships with operators, valuers, government agencies, financiers, legal advisers, architects, QS and MEP consultants
Drive asset-enhancement projects with project, marketing, and property teams to maximise IRR and asset value
Conceptualise in-house hospitality brands; manage consultant briefs on design, budget, schedule, and brand-standard rollout
Monitor operating performance of hotels: P&L, OPEX, CAPEX
Publish monthly KPI dashboards and supply-demand / macro-economic intelligence to guide portfolio strategy

Strategic communicator with advanced negotiation, problem-solving and commercial acumen
Fluency in English (spoken and written) essential, Chinese or Bahasa is an advantage
Minimum 10-15 years’ leadership experience in hotel business development, or operations with a proven track record of closed deals
Positive, adaptable, and willing to travel regionally as required
Sound knowledge of APAC and key international hotel markets, valuation methodologies, and regulations
Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Real Estate, Business, or related discipline
Highly analytical, organised, and self-driven; comfortable influencing senior stakeholders in a matrix structure
