What you would be doing
- Conduct onsite audits at supplier facilities.
- Support containment and sorting activities related to purchased component issues.
- Act as liaison between suppliers and internal stakeholders for issue resolution.
- Monitor and support timely part development and documentation from suppliers.
- Provide regular updates on work transfer status.
- Learn and apply supplier quality tools and methodologies.
- Educate suppliers on PPAP/FAIR and general quality standards.
- Ensure supplier support for work transfer activities (e.g., FAI, PPAP) and track progress.
- Lead APQP activities with suppliers to ensure quality planning and execution.
- Resolve supplier queries, coordinating with internal teams when necessary.
- Review and validate PPAP documentation to ensure compliance with internal requirements.
- Investigate supplier quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
