The Role

Overview

Maintain and secure network infrastructure for NYC health centers.

Tasks

-Assist with general IT support -Training other IT staff in particular network support tasks -Analysis and monitoring tools such as WireShark, LanSweeper, PRTG, etc. -Design and organize network infrastructure -Ensure proper functioning of the network -Troubleshooting and support -Designing, implementing and troubleshooting LAN, WAN and WLAN infrastructure -Support for enterprise systems planning/rollouts -Perform network maintenance and updates -Manage relationship with ISP/external networking vendors -Networking hardware inventory and documentation -Responsible for network security and access control

What You Bring

-Strong technical aptitude in the OSI model -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills -5+ years of hands-on experience in network administration -Strong vendor management and negotiating skills -Experience with Arctic Wolf and Dark Trace is a plus -Strong understanding of security concepts -Prior work experience in help desk support or systems administration a plus -Previous experience in healthcare industry preferred -Experience required in the following: -Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) -Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills -Cisco, Dell, Ubiquiti, and Sonicwall network technologies including, but not limited to routing, switching, wireless and VoIP -Dynamic routing and switching such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.
