Ensure designs comply with current customer specifications, standards, and revisions.
Perform chain pull calculations, including drive balancing and drive dropout capabilities based on customer requirements.
Review and verify drawings created by other team members prior to release to manufacturing or subcontractors.
Create 2D and 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
Support project managers and installation teams during system deployment and commissioning.
Design and detail conveyor systems and components, including overhead conveyors, chain conveyors, and roller conveyors (MDR, CDLR).
Develop AutoCAD conveyor layouts to support efficient material flow and system operation.
Coordinate with and oversee engineering subcontractors on assigned projects.
Provide Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) documentation as required.
Create Assembly Bills of Materials (ABMs) and Work Orders for manufacturing and purchasing teams.
Perform engineering calculations for drives, shafts, cylinders, bearings, and other mechanical components to ensure system performance and reliability.
Conduct site visits for meetings, field assessments, and on-site support as needed.
Identify scope changes and prepare detailed change order documentation.
