- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation
- Analyze and optimize existing electromechanical systems for improved performance and efficiency
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department
- Design and develop electromechanical systems and products using CAD software and engineering principles
- Provide technical support to manufacturing and field service teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical and mechanical components in product designs
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new projects and product improvements
- Participate in product testing and quality assurance processes
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electromechanical issues in existing products
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures

- Understanding of manufacturing processes and their impact on product design
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related purposes
- Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including industrial control systems
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations relevant to electromechanical systems
- Proven experience in product design and development
- 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical engineering or product design
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
