Coordinate and implement EHS programs, training, incident management, and compliance.
Oversee all yearly updates to the safety program, including the Safety Manual, Injury/Illness Prevention Plan, Emergency Procedures Manual, and the Emergency Contingency Plan
Resource expert on EHS regulatory requirements, corporate policies and procedures and the adoption into SOP’s and WI’s.
Maintain all weekly, monthly, and yearly safety inspections

Maintain all hazardous material and hazardous material area checks
Oversee the EHS programs and initiate activities that will improve the level of personnel safety and health and environmental compliance.

Managing Change

Ensure that all corrective actions and recommendations are completed and communicated within the expected timeframe. Examples include the following: incident investigation actions, audit findings, maturity assessments, and safety committee
Keep records of all employee training, corrections of unsafe conditions, and dates and results of workplace Maintain and submit documentation as required.
Ensure required EHS documentation is completed for all new processes, materials, and equipment including SOPs, JSA’s, and Lock-out/Tag-out
Coordinate Industrial Hygiene surveys as required (air, noise, ergonomics, )
Develop and administer EHS training for all employees (if required, including outside sales personnel, office, )
Follow incident management processes and conduct timely incident investigations and ensure timely reporting.
Review and update the EHS policies and procedures in accordance with Company policies and in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.

Knowledge of OHSA regulations and federal/local EHS regulations.
Bachelor’s degree required in environmental science, occupational safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field preferred.
Without a Bachelor’s degree, seven years’ EHS experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Understands individual strengths and opportunity areas and seeks development opportunities to leverage strengths and lean into opportunity areas. Open to both giving and receiving feedback.
Minimum of valid certification for Standard Intermediate First Aid
