The Project Leader will guide architectural design from concept to completion, ensuring compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements. They will collaborate with engineers, construction managers, and clients, develop design proposals and risk assessments, mentor architects and draftspersons, oversee documentation, and maintain strong client relationships.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled Retail & Hospitality Project Leader (Architect) to join our studio of designers, architects, and planning professionals. The role will shape the architectural direction of projects and lead a team to deliver complex solutions.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, has at least eight years of professional experience with a strong portfolio of project leadership, and possesses deep knowledge of retail, hospitality, and other commercial building types. Proficiency in design software, excellent communication and leadership skills, thorough understanding of building codes, and professional registration are required.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• Minimum 8 years of professional architectural experience with proven leadership
• Expertise in retail, hospitality, and other commercial building types, including materials and detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp; MS Project proficiency a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Demonstrated leadership and team‑management abilities
• In‑depth knowledge of building codes, regulations, and compliance processes
• Competence with standard business software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to meet project schedules and budgets across all design/construction phases
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills with autonomy
• Professional architectural registration required
