This position plays a vital role in supporting the company’s safety initiatives and day-to-day field operations. Reporting to the Safety Director, the Safety Manager is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and enforcing safety programs at the project and operational level to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and subcontractors.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, identify hazards, and work with project teams to develop corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, corporate, and client safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, logs, and records.
- Monitor subcontractor safety performance and compliance with site-specific safety plans.
- Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to employees and subcontractors.
- Support emergency response planning and participate in drills and incident response as needed.
- Track safety data, identify trends, and report findings to the Safety Director.
- Assist with incident investigations, near-miss reporting, and corrective action follow-up.
- Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project management and field leadership to promote a strong safety culture.
- Implement and enforce company safety programs, policies, and procedures across assigned projects.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in the field.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to identify hazards, assess risk, and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- OSHA 30 required; OSHA 510/500 is required
- Capable of handling sensitive information and responding effectively in emergency situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction safety or field safety management.
- Comfortable conducting training sessions and speaking to groups.
