Operations Supervisor

Description

• Manage operational reporting, assist with incident follow-ups, and coordinate vehicle maintenance with the workshop.
• Manage and monitor subcontractors, ensuring strong performance, compliance, and service quality
• Support driver inductions, training, and development
• Oversee day-to-day collection and recycling operations, maintaining strict safety, service standards, and environmental compliance
• Oversee and coordinate daily job allocation, ensuring drivers, routes, and vehicles are scheduled accurately and efficiently
• Stay across all daily operations, proactively resolving issues and supporting drivers to keep services running smoothly
• Conduct end-of-day debriefs, monitor timelines and breaks, and ensure all routes are completed as scheduled

We are seeking a high-performing, committed, and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee the fast-paced, dynamic daily activities of our operations team in Jandakot. This role includes being on-call every second week (24/7). You will be responsible for daily run allocation, performance monitoring, safety and compliance, and providing strong leadership, support, and guidance to staff while maintaining excellent customer service.

• Waste industry experience highly regarded
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Supervisory or leadership experience in operations, logistics, or fleet management
• Excellent communication and a customer-first mindset
• High attention to detail with solid administration and reporting skills.
• Strong skills in scheduling, dispatch, and resource planning
