  • Defining sales targets, giving input on market price developments monitoring competitors’ activity with the account and ensuring that appropriate response strategies are implemented.

  • Experience in conducting market analysis and business development plans with solid structured approach.
  • Understanding the key business drivers, including significant and emerging business risks (e.g., sustainability/digital/cybersecurity) of the relevant global customer’s business and business environment, translating them into the corresponding impacts and opportunities for ABB.
  • Technical background with experience with low/medium voltage electrical equipment is preferred
  • 15 years of experience within the electrical industry. Experience with working with contractors and distributors in the Northeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic area is a requirement.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Marketing related degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the Electrification products and experience with quoting projects for contractors
  • Willingness to travel as needed. Preferred base location would be in Northeast, Midwest or Mid-Atlantic.
