- Serve as a Project Manager on larger projects, although project management is not the sole focus of this position
- Serve as the Civil Engineer of Record.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams throughout all project phases—from initial planning through construction documentation and administration.
- Assist in developing scope and fee proposals
- Provide support during the construction phase, such as responding to RFI and reviewing submittals
- Prepare detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, engineering calculations and reports.
- Lead and train a team of CADD designers, EIT’s, Site Civil Engineers
- Lead site civil engineering design (site layout, Erosion Control, Storm, Grading & Drainage, Utilities) and production efforts for site civil engineering projects related to buildings, facilities, and infrastructure projects across diverse market sectors, including:Residential, commercial, and industrial developmentsWater/wastewater systemsMunicipal and federal projectsPower and data center facilities
- Lead Permitting (Federal, State and local) efforts
- Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
- Manage permitting processes with federal, state, and local agencies
- Plan and develop projects or design activities that have significant impact on major company programs as needed

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an ABETaccredited university.
- Experience serving as the Design lead for a team of civil engineering professionals on complex land development projects
- Proven experience serving as Engineer of Record on previous projects.
- Ability to prioritize
- Proposal writing experience
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fastpaced, multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to exercise sound engineering judgement with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR/Stormwise, WaterCAD, and StormCAD.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Prior experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.
- Highly organized, selfmotivated, and proactive, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering highquality, technically sound designs with minimal supervision.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in site civil/land development design for buildings or infrastructure, including:DemolitionErosion controlSite layoutStormwater managementGrading and drainageUtility design
