What you would be doing

Support the monetisation of embedded flexibility within the portfolio, whether from E.ON’s or customers’ assets, including battery storage and Demand Side Response.
Ensure scheduling and dispatch is correctly carried out.
Support the senior traders in the development of analysis and market intelligence.
Analyse market conditions and E.ON’s portfolio positions to drive profitable trading decisions against a clear P&L target.
Work with the wider Trading and Origination teams in other European regions to foster expertise and intelligence
Develop, improve and support the modelling & analysis suite to improve commercial outcomes.
Trade power and gas contracts in the bilateral brokered market and on exchanges, focussing on the day ahead, weekend and prompt timeframes.

Graduate calibre.
Knowledge and understanding of structured commodity contracts, options and battery storage systems.
Experience in working with specialist IT systems in a trading environment.

Highly numerate with strong analytical skills – you should be comfortable working with and distilling data to draw insights.
