The Tower Foreman leads daily site construction work to meet production goals, ensures safety compliance with MasTec policies and industry standards, and oversees operations and quality at assigned sites. They maintain required paperwork, coordinate with customers, provide leadership and training to crew members, and validate timesheets. Additional duties include equipment maintenance, mentorship of less experienced technicians, and completion of structural modification welding tasks.
The ideal candidate has at least five years of industry experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a strong record of safety and quality. They possess construction, rigging, and welding expertise, can read site plans and drawings, hold a valid driver’s license, and are physically fit to climb towers and handle up to 50 lb loads. Certifications such as WSA, First Aid, CPR, and various telecom qualifications are preferred.
