Prepare master coil for slitting
Assist maintenance in making repairs
Complete all required paperwork
Assist in slitter change over
Move slitter heads during change over
Operate overhead crane and hi-lo as required
Move master coils to area using an overhead crane
Operate entry equipment
Report any irregularities or malfunctions to managers and/or maintenance
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Perform daily preventative maintenance
Perform daily crane/hi-lo inspections and report any deficiencies
Remove scrap as required
Follow workplace safety practices set forth by Atlas Tube Inc. Policy
Perform width and gauge checks to ensure material is correctly slit
Assist other operators when required during breakdowns, bottlenecks, and scheduled downtime

Hi-Lo License
Computer Knowledge (SAP)
Follow verbal and written instructions
Open, build and close slitter heads
Bend, Twist, Stoop, Sit, Kneel, Crawl, push and pull. Able to reach in all directions.
Overhead Crane License
Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role.
Ability to use hand held measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
Basic Math Skills
Mechanical Experience
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods of time to cover shift.
