The Capture Manager will oversee pursuit management activities, develop customer‑facing capture and marketing materials, and manage knowledge, research, and analysis functions. Responsibilities include leading pursuit teams, aligning capture objectives with schedules, and coordinating cross‑organizational synergy bids. The role also involves briefing leadership on strategy, capture status, and milestone reviews.
- Research, analyze, and assess business opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies, market research, and competitive analysis.
- Maintain and develop professional relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Identify new opportunities and collaborate with technical teams to generate revenue.
- Manage assigned pursuits, resources, schedules, and lead pursuit teams.
- Coordinate cross‑organizational synergy bids and brief leadership on strategy and status.
- Develop call plans, execute customer calls, and document interactions in reports.
- Translate capture objectives into schedules and activities to meet outcomes.
- Create and review capture and marketing materials for customer‑facing engagements.
- Travel as required to support capture activities.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, business, communications, or a related field, and have at least 12 years of industry experience, including six years in business development. They must be U.S. citizens with an active Secret security clearance and possess strong writing, strategic thinking, project management, and presentation skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and a proven winning track record are also required.
Preferred candidates have a strong network of Army and MDA clients within the Redstone Arsenal portfolio and are currently managing a large pipeline of related opportunities, including aviation and missile systems. Experience with Salesforce is a plus. These qualifications further demonstrate the ability to generate profitable revenue for KBR.
