• Develop and maintain resident Housing Service Plans.
• Maintain knowledge of Plymouth and community resources to connect tenants.
• Schedule appointments and provide transportation for residents.
• Advocate and collaborate with community providers for continuity of care.
• Assist residents with move‑in and move‑out processes per policy.
• Mediate conflicts using de‑escalation techniques.
• Respond to crises and emergencies, following harm‑reduction principles.
• Address resident complaints and escalate to the Residential Services Manager as needed.
• Coordinate with internal behavioral health team for integrated services.
• Attend supervision and team meetings to discuss resident and program issues.
• Promote teamwork and support community events and building‑team strategies.
• Collaborate with other housing departments and participate in committees.
• Provide backup support to social services staff and front‑desk coverage.
• Ensure a safe, sanitary building environment for tenants and staff.
• Meet program agreement standards for residential stability, eviction prevention, and self‑determination.
• Maintain accurate database records, progress notes, and confidentiality.
• Record significant events, incident reports, and tenant satisfaction surveys daily.
• Manage financial documentation for resident credit‑card purchases.
• Follow agency policies, provide input on procedures, and review materials.
• Coordinate with internal departments for activities and information collection.
• Organize tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
• Build and sustain relationships with tenants and community resources.
• Use Microsoft Office and customized databases efficiently; conduct internet research.
• Transport tenants to appointments as needed.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a BA/BS in a human‑service field (or equivalent experience), have at least two years of experience serving homeless or low‑income individuals with complex health or substance‑use issues, and possess a valid Washington State driver’s license with an insurable record.

Essential competencies include strong written and oral communication, effective organization and time‑management, creative problem‑solving, empathy for individuals affected by addiction and trauma, the ability to work under stress with diverse populations, collaborative teamwork, leadership, proficiency with Microsoft Office and specialized databases, and meticulous attention to detail.

Benefits

This position is represented by Local 8 of the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU) and offers a starting wage of $35.04 per hour.

The position may involve up to a 40‑hour work week and can require evenings, one weekend day, and occasional holiday mornings.
