The Planning Engineer is responsible for managing planning work on Coastal Contracting Company projects in compliance with company procedures and required timeframes, delivering expected quality. The role requires specialized domain knowledge and a commitment to excellence.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related construction/development degree; a project‑management certification, diploma, or master’s degree is preferred. A minimum of eight years’ experience on large‑scale mixed‑use development projects is desirable.
Required competencies include excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills, along with solid knowledge of materials, construction, and the local industry. Proficiency with the latest version of Primavera planning software and advanced Microsoft Excel reporting is also required.
