Tasks
-Provides input to Trade Specialist to establish means & methods for electrical assemblies, prefabrication, kitting & installation practices. -Provides support to field personnel before and during the construction process. Translates the design intent to the field through one-on-one sit-down explaining installation drawings that incorporate assemblies, details, materials, and estimated hours for the projects. -Supports the designer by developing and providing details, means and methods, sizing, code compliance on design build, design assist and integrated projects for permit submittal. -Identifies construction requirements for projects based on estimate, scope, contract, page turn and specifications. -Completes “feedback loop” through periodic contact to the field to assist in ongoing coordination and QC from start to finish of the project. -Generates all VC deliverables including assembly drawings for manufacturing, field installation drawings & details, BOM’s and kit of parts -Applies detailing and prefabrication strategies to a design during the virtual construction process and translates those strategies to the project team at the project start-up through the virtual construction scope. -Identifies manufacturing opportunities for each project. -Maintains clear communication between VC, Manufacturing, Operations and the field teams -Compiles information/documentation from all internal project meetings, such as construction schedule, BIM/preconstruction schedule, work orders and kitting opportunities and works with the Project Manager and Foreman to get deliverables and due dates. -Keeps Electrical Trade Specialist abreast of changes and modifications that are made during the process that are communicated through the Project Manager. -Creates and documents value engineering solutions, which include identifying various design solutions and quantifying specific cost elements that are affected.

-Excellent communication, collaboration, strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast- paced working environment while working with and supervising large teams. -Able to review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and product submittals. -Advanced computer skills -Experience with industrialized construction and offsite manufacturing -Basic computer skills, Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam -Experienced in designing and/or detailing electrical projects. -Must be technologically savvy and open to learning and adapting new software and technologies. -Experience in BIM/VDC workflows
