Audit Manager - Tech Industry

Description

• Manage audit, review, and compilation engagements while leading multiple teams and delivering performance feedback.
• Partner with senior managers, directors, and partners on risk assessment, audit procedures, and reporting.
• Oversee daily audit operations including staffing, planning, budgeting, fieldwork, financial reporting, and engagement conclusion.
• Research and communicate guidance on complex accounting matters and transactions.
• Assist clients with GAAP compliance, adoption of FASB ASUs, and resolve client concerns proactively.
• Serve as an instructor in firm‑wide training programs and departmental meetings.
• Lead community, networking, and business development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (required).
• CPA license (required).
• Minimum five years of public accounting experience.
• Experience with revenue recognition, stock‑based compensation, convertible debt, and capitalized software (preferred).
• Familiarity with SAFE (Simple Agreements for Future Equity) (preferred).
• Ability to travel up to 10% to client sites.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
