Assist tool hire operations, sales, service, and vehicle handling for customers.

Tasks
To assist in the efficient running of Tool Hire by building relationships with customers and staff to achieve maximum sales potential and customer service. Promote MKM to be the merchant of choice within your geographical area. Supporting all Company initiatives This role will involve working alternate Saturday mornings. -Loading and unloading the vehicle with small plant, tools, and alloy towers. -Assist supervisor with managing stock levels, including incoming goods checked against delivery tickets, and participate in stock takes as required. -Ensure sales orders and delivery schedules are processed accurately and promptly. -Carrying out daily and weekly vehicle checks. -Administration – Coordinate all Tool hire reports as necessary, paying particular attention to Health & Safety -Administration – All sales orders processed promptly; maintenance records in relation to hired products are kept up to date; cash payments processed in line with company procedures. -Ensure profitable customer relationships are built and maintained, including complaint resolution, preparing customer orders, loading, and unloading safely and satisfactorily, ensuring any technical problems, faults and repairs are dealt with efficiently. -Following plans to continuously improve customer experience – representing the company, meeting different customers and driving to different locations on a daily basis. -Ensure that product knowledge is up to date and applied accurately in customer conversations. -Provide specialist advice and product information -Assist supervisor with managing stock levels, incoming goods checked against delivery tickets, and participate in stock takes as required.

What You Bring
Have a good understanding of the mechanical aspect of servicing and fixing of machinery. Previous experience within the Tool Hire industry. Benefits Product Knowledge -Experience in a sales/customer focused role. -Must be committed to delivering great customer experiences. -IT literate -Provide an efficient hire experience, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills in all aspects of the working day. -HGV driving experience is not essential, newly qualified drivers are also welcome. -Health & safety – ensure the safety of not only yourself but also colleagues and customers; up to date knowledge of Tool Hire H&S procedures; maintenance meets all the necessary requirements; H&S certification maintained. -Able to create and maintain successful relationships. -GCSEs (Or equivalent) - Maths & English -Good organisational skills to manage stock. -Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans. -A relevant understanding of the market and product knowledge -Full, clean driving license is essential – a class 2 (Category C) licence is essential and a valid CPC card and Digi Tachograph card. -Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. -Working knowledge of appropriate Health & Safety legislation
