  • Business development: Identify new business opportunities and generate leads within the HORECA sector.
  • Negotiation and closing: Prepare sales proposals, negotiate pricing, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Event participation: Represent the brand professionally at trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events.
  • Product demonstrations and presentations: Conduct on-site visits to showcase product features and benefits of coffee machines and related equipment.
  • Sales performance: Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies.
  • Market expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams, such as marketing and technical support, to ensure customer satisfaction and effective after-sales service.
  • Reporting and administration: Maintain accurate sales records, use CRM tools, and provide timely sales reports and forecasts to management.

A Senior Salesman for HORECA coffee machines is responsible for driving sales, managing client relationships, and achieving revenue targets within the hotel, restaurant, and café sectors. Key duties include developing new business, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and providing excellent customer service and support. This role requires strong sales and communication skills, a deep understanding of the HORECA market, and the ability to manage a portfolio of existing accounts while also expanding the client base.

  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Familiarity with HORECA market trends and process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.
  • Must have connections with the hotels chains procurement and Food Beverage Managers.
  • Should have work experience in premium coffee brands / Illy, Lavazza, Cage Vergano/ or well-known Italian brands.
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and use CRM software.
  • Strong understanding of the HORECA market dynamics.
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the HORECA industry / Coffee & Coffee Equipment’s.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
