Description

The primary function of this role is to apply wet or dry finishes to concrete members as required by shop cards. The employee reviews daily shop cards, prepares strand ends, applies galvanizing compounds, performs burning and patching, and ensures finishing requirements are met.

• Apply wet or dry finishes to concrete members according to shop cards.
• Review shop cards, saw off strand ends, apply galvanizing compound, burn off ends, and patch as needed.
• Clean connection plates and apply spray paint; strip blockouts and salvage woodwork.
• Apply grout to fill small holes and apply #8 or #13 finishes to concrete members.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and in a loud, mechanically active environment.

Requirements

• Rock/grind PVC blockouts, lifting loop blockouts, cutbacks/blockouts, and washes.
• Bull float or hard float wet concrete and place surface plates or lifting devices.
• Hold a high school diploma or GED with up to three months related experience or training.
