Facilitate Data Strategy: You will lead workshops and strategy sessions with business units to translate high-level goals (e.g., “digitalize the grid”) into concrete, actionable data roadmaps and architectural blueprints.
Advisory & Consulting: Serve as the primary technical consultant to our Execution Units. You will review their proposed solutions, challenge inefficient designs, and guide them toward enterprise-grade architectures (e.g., Data Mesh, Lakehouse).
Lead Transformation Initiatives: Take ownership of large-scale data projects—such as cloud migrations or master data harmonization—by coordinating efforts across distributed teams. You drive the initiative forward without needing direct line management authority.
Technology Enablement: Scout and recommend emerging technologies (AI/ML, Automation, Data Fabric). You help teams understand when and how to adopt new tools to solve business problems.
Architectural Governance: Define and champion the “Golden Standards” for data quality and governance. You will ensure that local solutions align with our global data strategy.

Transformation Focus: Experience with major changes (e.g., moving from on-prem to cloud, implementing Data Governance frameworks like DAMA) is essential.
Technical Authority: Deep expertise in modern data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure/AWS, Python/SQL). You may not code every day, but you have the technical depth to design systems and challenge engineering decisions.
Leadership without Authority: You are a natural facilitator who can align conflicting stakeholders, manage expectations, and drive progress across teams that do not report to you.
Strategic Experience: 5+ years in Data Strategy, Enterprise Architecture, or Technical Consulting. You have a track record of leading data initiatives from concept to execution in complex, matrixed organizations.
Data Engineering Skills: Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools, data pipeline orchestration (e.g., Airflow, Azure Data Factory), and SQL/NoSQL databases.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
