Delivery consultants & construction experts transforming visions into built reality.
Key responsibilities include delivering strategic commercial assessments (contract strategy, market entry, risk‑sharing), undertaking supply‑chain risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies, supporting change‑management and transformation initiatives, and translating complex topics into clear, compelling communication.
You will also apply technical knowledge to emerging technologies, seek to develop specialist expertise, and aim to work across multiple sectors or global hubs.
Within our consult business, we harness a unique combination of leading‑edge practical expertise and project delivery consultancy to unlock the potential in every project.
Join our expanding Mace Advisory Centre of Excellence within Mace Consult, where we deliver the best advice drawn from iconic global projects. We seek candidates with a broad, flexible technical skillset to advise clients alongside Mace sector teams, focusing on service excellence, continuous improvement and product development. Ideal candidates have strategic advisory capability and specialise in one or more service lines such as strategy and investment, construction productivity, asset performance, commercial delivery or change transformation.
Candidates should have postgraduate experience offering strategic advice in a consultancy environment, demonstrated ability to work strategically amid high complexity and uncertainty.
A proven track record is required in client liaison excellence, building and maintaining professional relationships, supporting business development and bid activities, and possessing in‑depth knowledge of one or more property and infrastructure sectors such as aviation, rail, healthcare, nuclear, utilities or energy transition.
You must demonstrate strong research, analysis and creative‑idea generation skills, produce high‑quality presentations and reports, be digitally savvy, comfortable with uncertainty, self‑motivated to learn new skills, and adept at stakeholder engagement and client relationship management.
Advisory consultants often handle multiple short‑term commissions, so flexibility and agility are essential; you should be a collaborative team player with broad consultancy expertise, a creative collaborator, eager to share knowledge, mentor junior staff, and willing to travel domestically and internationally with any required security clearances.
Mace is an inclusive employer encouraging diverse candidates to apply, even if not meeting every criterion, and offers part‑time, flexible and hybrid working options where appropriate.
