Community Manager

Description

• Handle resident concerns/problems
• Prepare and monitor annual operating budgets
• Enforce lease agreements, as well as house/community policies
• Maintain regular office hours consisting of 8-5pm, or 9-6pm
• Monitor Advertising sources; IE: Internet, print ads, and locator services
• Monitor and supervise contracted services and vendors
• Prepare all non-financial government agency reports
• Keep Outlook open, respond to emails and voicemails in a timely and professional manner
• Approve Invoices in PayScan
• Ensure that all documents are scanned and filed accordingly in Yardi Voyager
• Submit weekly, and month-end reports to Regional Manager
• Provide leasing assistance per property needs
• Prepare for move ins, renovations, and turns timely
• Prepare/process all documents related to rent; i.e. non-payment, (UD, etc).
• Work is performed in interior and exterior structure and common areas
• Provide Regional Manager with a monthly building report
• Oversee, direct and mentor other site staff
• Prepare written reports as well as Plumbing & Smoke Detector logs to Regional Manager quarterly
• Document any/all changes in the resident/maintenance file

Requirements

• Ability to lift moderately heavy objects, climb ladders, perform duties requiring extensive maneuverability and normal strength
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• 2+ yrs in Property Management
• Ability to problem solve with staff and residents
• Basic knowledge of bookkeeping
• Always maintain highest occupancy possible
• High school diploma or equivalent
