The role involves initiating calls to obtain the status of claims in the queue and contacting insurance companies to clarify denials and underpayments. You will take appropriate actions to ensure claim resolution, provide accurate and timely follow‑up, and document all actions in the claims billing summary notes. Additional duties include prioritizing pending claims from the aging basket, making calls in compliance with international norms, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations, and handling denials, rejections, letters of agreement, and required claim corrections.
The position is part of the EBO Accounts Receivable team in India. No travel or security clearance is required.
Candidates must hold a graduate degree, possess good written and verbal communication skills, and be prepared to work night shifts. An average typing speed of at least 25 words per minute is required.
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite is considered a plus.
