Must pass company drug testing procedures as well as Federal Motor Carrier drug and alcohol testing regulations.
Knowledge of established aerial cable installation procedures and techniques
Ability to climb telephone poles and work in a bucket truck
Use of manual tools such as shovels, posthole diggers and other handheld tools
Must have the ability to exert heavy physical effort, ability to kneel, crouch, balance, climb or crawl
Must be 21 years of age, have a valid Driver's License and health card (if driver)
Must be able to perform physical manual labor duties within the workday
Be able to follow company guidelines in regard to acceptable conduct when dealing with customers, fellow employees in a team environment and the public.
Working knowledge with bucket truck safety - working aloft
Must possess good communication skills
Must have a valid driver's license and comply with company motor vehicle policy
Use of mechanized equipment such as bucket truck, digger derrick, excavators, etc
Knowledge of electrical clearances and make ready
1-5 years previous construction experience, preferably in telecommunications industry.
