  • Supervise, mentor, and support junior engineers and designers, fostering team development and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead highway design packages for road infrastructure projects, including client liaison, technical documentation, and coordination with internal/external teams.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, proposal development, and continuous improvement of Arup’s highway design systems and practices.
  • Ensure work is delivered within budget and timeframes, while maintaining alignment with Arup’s quality and safety standards.
  • Deliver high-quality civil engineering design solutions and provide technical advice to government, private, and contractor clients.

  • Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and experience in model reviews, clash detection, and integrated design solutions.
  • Familiarity with 12d road alignment models and coordination with drainage, utility, and 3D models from other software platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge of road design standards (Austroads, RMS, TfNSW, Australian Standards) and demonstrated project delivery experience.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in mentoring, supervising teams, and delivering internal training.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification and near or full membership of a professional engineering institution.
