Manage the following work elements: day-to-day communication (verbal and written) with the client, support and advise junior engineers and technical staff, write reports and technical memos, coordinate with subconsultants, keep project on schedule and within budget, and keep client satisfied
Include preparing scopes, budgets and schedules
Work as a key member of a highway/roadway design team in designing and analyzing hydraulics including storm drain system design, culverts, and water quality treatment design for moderate to large projects and work independently on smaller projects
Prepare or oversee the following design work using local, Caltrans, or FHWA standards: inlet design and spread calculations, storm drain pipe design and hydraulic grade line calculation, culvert design and analysis, and water quality treatment design and analysis.
Prepare and oversee the following elements of various sizes of contract plans, specifications and estimates: inlet design and spread calculations, storm drain pipe design and hydraulic grade line calculation, culvert design and analysis, and water quality treatment design and analysis.

Proficiency with InRoads, Microstation, AutoCad and/or other design software as appropriate such as Hydraflow, StormCAD, HY-8, GIS, and BAHM
Previous experience in general civil engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license.
California PE is preferred or ability to obtain via reciprocity within 12 months.
