* Deliver schedules and plans to a consistently high standard, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in line with contractual requirements.

Join a landmark billion-dollar gold project as Lead Planner, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring schedules are accurate, efficient, and aligned with both client and project requirements. This site-based role, on a 2:1 roster, will see you leading a high-performing planning team, delivering timely and precise reports, and maintaining the highest standards of service to internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of all planning outputs, developing and maintaining project-specific planning procedures, and optimising resources to achieve project milestones. This is your chance to combine technical expertise with leadership to drive results on one of Australia’s most significant gold projects.

* Lead and manage the site planning team in compliance with project requirements, work codes, and industry standards.

* Advise the Project Manager and Project Controls Manager of any issues affecting project outcomes.

* Communicate promptly with clients and management on issues impacting project goals.

* Provide leadership, guidance, and regular communication to site and Perth-based senior personnel.

* Respond promptly to changes to maintain project delivery commitments.

* Oversee all site project planning functions, whether performed personally or delegated.

* Chair weekly area meetings.

* Establish and maintain reasonable implementation approaches and controls.

* Preferably an engineering qualification or equal.

  • Supervisory practices and techniques.

* 10 - 15 years’ experience in planning essential, with +5 years in a senior or Lead role.

  • Ability to meet schedule update and reporting targets
  • High degree of professional ethics.
  • Excellent communication skills; written, electronic and verbal.
  • Strong proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerBI.

* Ability to forecast and assess trends for accurate schedule maintenance and to provide information that assists with project management goals.

* Ability to prepare detailed shutdown and tie-in planning.
