Assisting the construction crew in the removal of debris and hazardous materials.
Attend regularly scheduled safety team meeting prior to work.
Appropriately positioning warning and detour signs around construction sites.
Assist in removing all signs, barricades, and traffic cones upon completion of construction work.
Communicate with other flaggers using hand-held radios to direct two-way radio traffic onto a single lane.
Setting up advanced warning signs, barricades, and traffic cones along construction sites to cordon off work zones.
Using hand signals, paddle, and direction signs to direct traffic around road construction sites.
Inform the construction crew of any traffic issues that may affect their safety.

Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
Effective communication skills
WA Flagger Certification (Required)
Ability to lift and carry 10lbs (30lbs on occasion)
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Must pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test as this is a safety sensitive role
Experience driving.
Driving required role, must have a valid driver’s license
Keen on maintaining safety and have excellent observational skills?
Have or willing to obtain a Washington State Traffic Control Flagger certification
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day and lift 50-60 lbs.
Must be at least 18 years old
