Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of issues discovered during pilot testing
Occasionally travel to field sites to perform system-level tests under real-world operating conditions.
Conduct environmental, durability, reliability, and performance testing on prototype units
Design and set up test fixtures, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems for lab and field testing
Perform and manage engineering work using CAD / FEA software to solve problems in mechanical / structural design, finite element analysis, design optimization, prototype generation, and fatigue analysis
Participate in brainstorming sessions with the design engineering team to identify concepts and designs for future products
Develop and execute test plans and procedures for mechanical, electrical and control subsystems as well as complete system-level validation
