Assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices.
Work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer.
Perform basic calculations to analyze and design water/wastewater system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
Perform field work related to construction related activities as required.
Assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
Assist team in preparing water/wastewater designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports, and gather information to support design decisions.

Use knowledge of general concepts of relevant engineering elements including the analysis and design of water supply, distribution and treatment systems, sewerage networks, and wastewater treatment systems.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering with an emphasis on Civil Engineering or related field
EIT Certification required/ability to obtain
Has well-developed understanding of concepts of relevant areas of water/wastewater treatment infrastructure design.
Strong interpersonal skills for working in diverse team environments with staff, clients, and stakeholders, including working in remote/virtual settings.
Ability to effectively discuss project issues with the project team and support the development of project solutions.
Position will work in both a field and office setting. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Must be available to travel for out-of-town projects when needed.
Possesses excellent time management skills; thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting and efficient use of time and resources.
Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
Proficiency in relevant discipline software programs and tools, such as BioWin, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and others.
