Solar Proposals Student

Description

In this role you will support proposal development and work closely with a team of Proposal Specialists to create submission documents and strategic plans.

• Collaborate with a small team of Proposal Specialists on submission documents such as EOIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Review RFP requirements, develop proposal outlines and timelines, and identify questions, concerns, and risks.
• Participate in strategic visioning and proposal planning sessions, ensuring key stakeholder representation.
• Research essential data needed for submission documents.
• Translate proposal vision into compelling layouts and graphics using InDesign, including image selection and acquisition.
• Assemble and review responses for compliance, accuracy, and content, coordinating review sessions with teammates and stakeholders.

Requirements

We are seeking a Proposals Student for our Solar District, available for a 4‑16 month term starting May 2026.

• Proofread, edit, and reword text accurately.
• Pursuing a degree or diploma in a communications field.
• Strong written communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
• Adobe InDesign proficiency is an asset.

The internship is full‑time, based in Oakville, Ontario, with an hourly range of $19.57‑$28.88, to be confirmed in a personalized offer.
