Design, build, and optimize Excel-based VBA tools for underwriting, lease analysis, cash flow modeling, budgets, and variance reporting.
Develop dashboards, scenario analyses, and templated packages for investment committees and lender reporting.
Integrate with real estate platforms (e.g., MRI, RealPage, Argus Enterprise exports) to streamline monthly and quarterly reporting.
Establish version control, code reviews, and structured release processes for macros and templates.
Ensure data quality, compliance with internal controls, and protection of sensitive information.
Implement robust error handling, logging, and performance optimization for large workbooks and multi-sheet models.

Argus Enterprise (exposure preferred), Yardi/MRI/RealPage data exports
Expertise in VBA, advanced Excel features (Power Query, Power Pivot, named ranges, dynamic arrays), and workbook optimization.
Power BI and DAX experience for extended reporting; Power Automate for workflow orchestration.
Clear written and verbal communication; ability to gather requirements and train non-technical users.
Understanding of SOX/internal controls and audit-ready documentation.
Microsoft Excel, VBA, Power Query, Power Pivot
Power BI (preferred), Power Automate (nice to have)
Python or Office Scripts for complementary automation; familiarity with REST APIs.
Proven ability to build financial models; familiarity with real estate concepts such as NOI, cap rates, IRR, DCF, sensitivity tables, and waterfall structures.
Experience handling large datasets, data validation, and reconciliation across multiple sources.
