Identify corrective action and troubleshooting to improve reliability of equipment
Escalate issues promptly for proper resolution
Communicate operational information as required including ship captain and third-party quality inspectors
Follow all workplace and job safety procedures and perform housekeeping audits to applicable standards
Responsible for shift schedule to include: workstation assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, back up for absent employees and rotating shifts
Coordinating during ship loading, conduct shift meetings and communicate with third party vendors
Prepare and submit reports as required
Supervise, train, and coach employees to accomplish safety, productivity, quality and efficiency objectives

Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment.
Troubleshoot basic control systems and be familiar with basic machinery functions
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job descriptions
At least six months’ experience in supervision, preferred
Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
Experience with wood pellet processes, procedures, heavy equipment, and machinery
Willing and able to pull and lift, up to 50 lbs.
Supervisor must be certified to operate all port mobile equipment
Must be certified to operate mobile equipment inside the Domes
High School degree or equivalent
Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery
Basic knowledge of MS Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook
Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems preferred
Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
Must be willing to complete training as required by Supervisor and specified by Enviva
Ability to develop and maintain accurate records
Complete safety certification as required for the position
