Key duties include assisting the Project Manager with all phases of project execution, coordinating integrated project teams, preparing meeting materials, tracking subcontractor deliverables, maintaining auditable records, and supporting cost forecasting, variance analysis, and schedule risk identification. The APM also ensures compliance with FAR/DFARS, DCAA, CUI protection, ISO‑9001, and maintains site‑specific safety and environmental plans.
- Support Project Manager in all Acquire‑Comply‑Execute stages of federal construction projects.
- Coordinate Integrated Project Teams across operations, safety/quality, finance, and supply chain.
- Prepare and document meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
- Compile stage‑gate review artifacts and maintain auditable project records.
- Track subcontractor deliverables, RFIs, and submittals for timely approval.
- Assist with cost forecasting, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
- Identify and escalate schedule risks to the Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS, DCAA, CUI protection, and ISO‑9001 requirements.
- Maintain site‑specific safety plans, APP/JHAs, environmental plans, and quality control procedures.
- Upload and version‑control all project documentation in the QGS OPS Platform.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of experience on federal or commercial construction projects, preferably on contracts exceeding $1 million. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, and PMP or CAPM certification (with PMP required later) and OSHA 30 are advantageous. Strong organizational, communication, and matrix‑environment skills are essential.
- 2–4 years experience supporting federal or commercial construction projects (preferred $1M+ contracts).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- PMP or CAPM certification (PMP required within defined period for advancement).
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain it.
- Working knowledge of FAR/DFARS, DCAA, and federal construction compliance.
- Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, matrixed contracting environment.
