

Global engineering provider for offshore, marine & energy sectors: newbuilds, conversions, repairs, renewables.
The role involves sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services required for projects, operations, including drilling, production, maintenance, and engineering projects. It requires close liaison with internal teams such as engineering, projects, and operations to understand procurement needs and specifications. The incumbent will evaluate supplier capabilities, conduct technical and commercial evaluations of bids, and negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs and performance.
Compliance with industry standards, company policies, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations is essential. The position also includes maintaining and updating vendor databases and procurement records, tracking and expediting orders to meet project timelines, and contributing to supply‑chain risk assessment and mitigation. Preparation of procurement reports and analysis for management review is another key responsibility.

The candidate should be familiar with procurement tools and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle and demonstrate excellent negotiation and vendor‑management skills. Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Process, Marine Offshore, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related discipline, strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, and effective interpersonal and communication skills. Prior experience managing contracts for equipment, especially topside, is an advantage. The role is based at Seatrium’s Singapore yards with islandwide transport provided, and working hours are Monday‑Thursday 8:00 am‑5:15 pm and Friday 8:00 am‑4:30 pm.
