As a member of the leadership team you will help grow the NG sector in Texas, coach and mentor junior staff, identify business development opportunities, and deliver rail and transit projects profitably.
The position requires collaboration with internal groups such as Project Management, Purchasing, Compliance, Accounting and Legal to produce competitive proposals, and partnership with external stakeholders including government agencies, transit commissions, Class I railroads and industry associations.
- Coach, develop, and mentor junior team members to expand the NG sector in Texas.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities for rail and transit projects.
- Serve as Project Manager delivering profitable, repeatable project results.
- Spot strategic opportunities for differentiators and niche services with existing and future clients.
- Promote alternative delivery methods and expand the Texas client and project base.
- Coordinate with internal functions (PM, Purchasing, Compliance, Accounting, Legal) to create efficient proposals.
- Build collaborative partnerships with government agencies, transit commissions, Class I railroads, and freight rail clients; engage in industry associations such as APTA, AREMA, ARDA, and IANA.
- Ensure accountability, profitability, and long‑term management of rail and transit projects while supporting delivery teams.
- Provide leadership grounded in accountability, mentorship, and technical excellence in transportation engineering.

Qualified candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, have at least 10 years of progressive experience in transit or passenger rail, be recognized as a project manager and community leader, and be eligible to obtain a Texas PE license.
