  • Coordinate communication and deliverables between utility partners and internal stakeholders
  • Manage multiple third-party developers, contractors, and utilities to deliver energy resources and associated infrastructure
  • Partner with customers to achieve energy-related sustainability goals via implementation of renewable technologies and solutions for a given data center project
  • Negotiate and execute development agreements with third parties, contractors, and utilities.
  • Lead overall resource development (distributed energy, grid connected, etc.) supporting a rapidly growing portfolio of hyperscale data center projects

bachelor's
  • 3+ years of experience negotiating interconnection or supply agreements on behalf of a large energy users or renewable energy developer
  • 5+ years of experience working to develop electric grid infrastructure to power critical loads (e.g. data centers, refineries, military), working for a utility, energy project developer, design/consulting firm, construction firm or energy intensive consumer
  • Working knowledge of US energy markets, rates, and regulatory tariff structures
  • Experience working for or with hyperscale data center customers, including co-location and cloud companies (Preferred)
  • Technical expertise related to distributed energy projects and associated transmission and distribution infrastructure
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., engineering or construction management)
  • Experience managing multiple projects in development simultaneously, excellent communication and collaboration skills, strong organizational skills, comfort with ambiguity, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
