Description

The Service Manager leads the Service Department, overseeing technology updates, customer relations, product enhancements, and budget tracking to meet profitability goals while adhering to the organization’s quality program.

• Plan immediate and long‑term growth, identifying profitable market segments.
• Develop and maintain district safety/quality plans and safety KPIs with the General Manager.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Maximize sales and profit for location and product lines; drive performance to exceed service KPIs.
• Organize sales and AR meetings; coordinate product line objectives and talent development.
• Manage field personnel to build a first‑class service team and ensure work orders close within 30 days.
• Schedule field activities, coordinate with customers, and address problems promptly.
• Review employee time sheets for accuracy and timely payroll submission.
• Oversee Service/Inspection Sales activities, ensuring resources meet budgeted sales levels.
• Prepare, review, and approve sales estimates; facilitate communication between sales, design, and field teams.
• Assist on customer calls, entertain as appropriate, and manage operations managers and inspection scheduler.
• Ensure 24/7/365 emergency response capability and effective equipment coordination for jobs.
• Maintain communication between customers and field teams; track design and labor costs versus estimates.
• Conduct employee reviews, coordinate disciplinary actions with HR and management, and maintain personnel documentation.
• Ensure company vehicles and tools are properly maintained, inventoried, and replaced as needed.
• Guarantee field employees are trained, licensed, and compliant with safety programs and site‑specific policies.

Requirements

The role requires extended periods of standing and sitting, occasional driving, lifting up to 20 lb, and frequent travel, with work performed in office, remote, and field environments while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment as needed.

• Require High School Diploma or GED; NICET II certification preferred; 5+ years fire‑life safety experience.
• Require 3+ years of computer proficiency, including CAD reading and Microsoft Office; Salesforce and ERP experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and comply with drug‑free and background policies.
