Hold a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant engineering field; master’s preferred
Minimum one year experience with cryogenics, vacuum insulation, liquid transfer, fittings, or valves
Knowledge of cryogenic fluids, low‑temperature materials, equipment, vessels, and associated hazards
Proficiency in specifying and assembling cryogenic and high‑pressure fittings
Experience with ASME VIII and B31.3 piping and pressure vessel codes
Familiarity with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) is a plus
Experience with heavy rotating machinery such as compressors, turbines, and pumps
Willingness to perform tedious assembly or long‑duration testing and iterative improvements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for consulting with scientists, engineers, and stakeholders
Cryogenic certification is a plus
Experience with hydrogen handling, safety, and permitting is a plus
Expertise in PLC and/or LabVIEW programming is a plus

The position offers a salary range of $80,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Compensation is DOE.
