The Account Manager will provide ongoing support to a portfolio of customers, consulting to understand their needs and delivering the full Sandvik Coromant offering. The role ensures that the development strategy aligns with the local business plan and helps strengthen the company’s market share.
Key responsibilities include defining a development strategy for the assigned accounts, supporting sales forecasts, budgets and targets, and building strong customer relationships. The manager coordinates specialist and technical resources to deliver the complete Coromant solution, presents the Customer Value Framework, monitors results, and takes corrective actions to meet local business plan objectives. Additional duties involve maintaining market share, identifying new opportunities, providing timely market intelligence, leading project teams, applying pricing strategies, acting as a liaison between customers and internal departments, and ensuring compliance with quality and sales‑marketing playbooks.
The position also requires high‑quality CRM data maintenance, adherence to internal rules, continual improvement of product and industry knowledge, and participation in training programs. The manager is expected to perform other tasks as assigned by senior management.
Candidates must have at least five years of sales and marketing experience in the tooling and machining industry, a degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or a related field, and a proven record of delivering strong business results. Required competencies include project management, negotiation, customer‑relationship management, ability to operate in a global matrix organization, strong analytical and KPI skills, proficiency with Office 365, and excellent English communication. A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel approximately 30 % of the time are also required.
