The Accounting Manager is responsible for management of the Accounting Department including payables and receivables clerks, one senior accountant, and the payroll manager.

  • Responsible for the development, accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for board of directors
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Accounting department including payroll, accounts receivable and payable, project cost accounting.
  • Responsible for the management of Accounting department staff including hiring, training, supervising, evaluating, and development.
  • Oversee/prepare the communication of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Responsible for the development and enforcement of company policies and procedures related to the Accounting function of the company.
  • Maintains the financial model, budgets, and the development of all accounting reports.
  • Manage the preparation of financial forecasts, and the management of cash flow.
  • Preparation and completion of end of year financial, overhead cost, and workers compensation audits.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Greater than 5 years of experience in a senior level accounting role
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including generally accepted accounting principles. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems. Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements and projections. Working knowledge of short- and long-term budgeting and forecasting, rolling budgets, and product-line profitability analysis.
  • Greater than 3 years of leadership experience
